So according to all the newspapers, you'd think the whole country had been levelled in a cataclysmic natural disaster, whereas we in fact had a slight earth tremour and someone in the West Midlands may or may not have spilled their cereal. Thank god I'll be getting some real "when weather goes bad" action when Hurricane Isadore and I meet for our hot date in New Orleans on Thursday. I guess I'll take my brolly.
