london, youkay.

Back in the U, Back in the U U U K, or something.

NYC was a blast, naturally though how could it not be with gingi and partygirl providing the shot-fuelled kicks at the bar-hopping helm?

Too much to remember, but random highlights include : singing Suspicious Minds in a Drag Queen karaoke bar and having Scooby Doo panties thrown at me (is it any wonder a boy cant hold a note?), seeing the above-mentioned starlets Janice and Britney renditions at said bar. Dancing with the coolest people in the room on New Years Eve and flirting with Steve & Steve. Cheap Guiness night with Uncle Kevin and Amber from Alabama, the one-woman Jerry Springer show. Standing at a crossing and have someone in a passing car throw a snowball at me (why is this ALWAYS happening to me? Welltwice) like a surreal wintery drive-by. Feeling very New York buying a Le Tigre album in Other Music. Mutant Eggs Benedict at Toms Diner (do do do do, do do do do, do do do do do do do do , etc). And lots of other stuff, which Im sure will filter through the jetlag at some point.

Im 2 days late. Virgin were looking for volunteers to stay off the flight, so I did it. Twice. And now I have 2 free plane tickets to anywhere in the world (that Virgin fly to, subject to availability, conditions apply)! So if you live in Tokyo, San Francisco, LA, Delhi, Joberg or Barbados, please persuade me to come and visit you! I had to stay in hotels at Newark Airport, which is about as much fun as it sounds, especially with their self-collect room service and extortionate rates for televisual pornography (Virgin wouldnt give me a voucher for THAT, I notice).

Must sleep at an inappropriate time now. But thank you NYC. And especially gingi, for hostessing beyond the call of duty. I really must return, if only to find the tosser who snow-balled me.
